Firemen keep on engaging Touws Stream burst
Firemen keep on engaging a huge veld fire on ranches situated on the slopes outside Touws Waterway.
The burst, which was accounted for late on Tuesday evening, was brought about by lightning.
The fire line is right now around 12 kilometers in length, and stretches north of two homesteads.
Cape Winelands locale district's Jo-Anne Otto said firefighting groups had the option to shield five visitor bungalows from the flares.
"There are presently 34 team individuals. Two extra individuals will show up on Wednesday morning, which will expand the team to around 54 individuals," Otto said.
"It is anticipated that the temperature will be around 35 to 37 degrees on Wednesday, which will make for entirely awkward firefighting conditions," she added.
